Memorial Day Parade Information for Haddam, Killingworth and East Haddam

Parade Information:
All parades are on Memorial Day~Monday, May 27, 2013

Haddam
The Haddam Memorial Day Parade steps off at 9:30 am on Route 81, proceeds to the cemetery for a short ceremony and then to the Higganum Center Green for further ceremonies. Roads are closed in the area for the length of the parade and ceremonies.

Killingworth
The parade steps off at 9:00 am with ceremonies following at the Congregational Church. A Color Guard and Firing Squad will be present from Camp Niantic. The Haddam-Killingworth Middle School will march in the parade as will Town Officials and religious leaders. Those marching in the parade should gather at Irene Sheldon Park at 8:30 am.

East Haddam
Please report to the former middle school parking lot promptly at 9:30 a.m. for parade formation for those involved in the parade. The police will shut down Wigwam Road and Route 151/Plains Road at 9:45 a.m. In the case of rain, the Memorial Ceremony will be held at the American Legion Hall, Nepturne Avenue, Moodus at 10:30 a.m. Click here for parade itinerary.
