HKMS Community Day - Saturday April 13th

HKMS Community Day will be held on Saturday, April 13th
at Parmelee Farm in Killingworth


HKMS Community Day is a first annual community event where middle school students and their families volunteer their services for people in our district's towns who need help and support.  Work site activities will range from raking, clearing debris and cleanup to painting and trail work.  More information on work sites will be available soon.  The only cost of the event is your service!
Registration will begin at 7:30am and extend until 8:15am.  There will be a small, continental breakfast served and guest speakers.  Buses will transport volunteers to work sites from 9:00-12:00.  Volunteers will work for 3 hours.  There will be a free barbeque when the buses return at 12:30pm to Parmelee Farm.  All participants will receive a free T-shirt to remember this event. Limit: 100 students and family members for year 1 of the event.
