A panel discussion about writing short stories

Authors Judith Boss (Deception Island), Ben and Beth Oak
(together, pen name B. B. Oak) and Leslie Wheeler (Murder at Spouter’s Point)
will be at Books & Boos, 514 Westchester Rd., Colchester on Saturday, May
11 from 2 – 4 PM participating in a panel discussion about writing short
stories.

The discussion, “Death in Shorts,” will explore how to build a plot, create
interesting characters, and write engaging short story mysteries. The authors
will also read excerpts from their recently published stories.

This event is free to the public. Free sandwiches and cookies will be served.
