Franklin Academy

The campus of this six-dorm boarding and day college prep school for girls and boys in grades 9-12 with non-verbal learning disabilities and Asperger's Syndrome is nestled in a hilly area near Gillette Castle State Park. There is a dining hall, athletic fields, library, media center and workout area on the 75-acre property. The curriculum is geared toward the special learning styles of these students, which is characterized by substandard time management skills, trouble organizing, fine motor difficulties and hardships with abstract conceptual reasoning.
