Harvest House In Need of Volunteers This Fall
Harvest House in East Haddam is in need of volunteers and volunteer teams to fill Sunday vacancies between October and the end of the 2013.
According to a post on a volunteer's Facebook page, the soup kitchen at St. Stephen's Church in East Haddam is in need of volunteers starting in October. Edward Odell posted the following message on his Facebook page:
"...Harvest House fills the gap with our Sunday evening dinners when other community resources such as our Food Pantry and other soup kitchens are closed. Harvest House is in need of volunteers and volunteer teams to fill unanticipated Sunday vacancies in our calendar between October and the end of the year, as well as dates going forward in 2014..."
