Crazy in Kinderland

I'm a third grade teacher by trade and experience heading into the unknown, but totally delightful (or so I've been told), land of Kindergarten. After taking a year off to be with my kiddos, I am heading back to work. (insert SCREEEEECHing sound here)

Don't get me wrong. I am completely and utterly excited about my new adventure. I look at it as a chance to do something completely out of my element. Who else gets the chance to reinvent themselves midway through their career? If you ask me about the whole full-time-working-mom thing, I will tell you that my brain does not function in that category yet. I refuse to let my brain cells go there. I have another week or so before all craziness sets in.  Why rush it? I'd rather get smacked in the face with a big reality stick when there's no turning back.

My future blog posts will contain the rambling thoughts of a 39 year old teacher mom who slowly and permanently loses her mind as she embarks on this crazy journey called life.
