Matt Young has shown a strong understanding of what every political leader needs. I started my own successful business out of my basement when I was 19 years old, and the experience has taught me how critical it is for our elected leaders to understand how our local businesses interact with our communities. From Matt’s own experiences at being both the founder of his own successful company and as a political leader who is not afraid of a debate, a town hall meeting, or a pointed question, I believe Matt can bring a tremendous amount of energy and competence to office as Killingworth's First Selectman.
