Killingworth Library Named “Perfect” for Holiday Shopping Needs

The Killingworth Library is a terrific source for holiday gifts!

Where can you find holiday gifts available nowhere else, avoid the crowds and long lines, and support your local library at the same time? At the Killingworth Library! This is the only place in town that carries note cards depicting scenes of snowy Killingworth barns, “KW” car magnets, the first in a series of collectible engraved wine glasses, memory card bracelets, and giftable books including three books on soap operas signed by 20 or more cast members!
Whether you need to pick up a little something for your student away at school, a host/hostess gift, a stocking stuffer, or a unique gift for someone who has everything, the library can fill your shopping needs.
A special thanks goes to Killingworth artist Sandra Smith whose paintings have been reproduced on four different note cards depicting barns found on River Road, North Roast Meat Hill Road, and two locations on Route 81. Sandra is a well known “plein air” landscape oil painter who has won many awards in Connecticut juried art shows, and her landscapes are in private collections all across the country.  She is an elected member of the Madison Art Society and Clinton Art Society.  Sandra will be exhibiting her paintings at the library in December.
The Killingworth Library has convenient shopping hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday from 10am to 4:30pm, and Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm. If you have any questions, please call the library at 860-663-2000.
