Take a 4th of July Cruise on the CT River

Depart from Haddam on a cruise to search for fireworks while watching the full moon rise on the Connecticut River.

 

RiverQuest, which conducts tours year-round on the Connecticut River from its berth in Haddam, is offering a search and full moon cruise.

The cruise will depart from in Haddam and is "a cruise to no where," timed so that, weather permitting, participants will see the full moon rise.

There are no scheduled fireworks along the river for 4th of July, but folks aboard the cruise can “search” for any that may be displayed along the edge of the river.

The cruise departs on Wednesday, July 4th at 7:00 p.m. and will return at 10:00 p.m. or so. The cost is $40 per person.
