H-K Schools Talk the Talk, Walk the Walk

RSD 17 hosts a Community Window Walk on Education Friday morning.

School is a lot different today than it was just a few short years ago. The Haddam-Killingworth schools are giving you a chance to see just how different.

As part of Regional School District 17’s Community Window Walk on Education initiative, each month, the district will invite community members into the schools for a glimpse of what a typical school day is like.

The Window Walk initiative kicks off Friday, October 12, 2012, at Haddam-Killingworth High School, 95 Little City Road, Higganum, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. All members of the community are welcome to attend. You will get to meet the principal, Charlie Macunas, tour the school, and have lunch with school officials.

If you have a few hours free on Friday morning, stop by the high school to see what school is like for today’s teens.
