East Haddam First Selectman Re-Elected to CCM Board of Directors

The Connecticut Conference of Municipalities elected its Officers and Board of Directors at their Annual Meeting on June 13. East Haddam's First Selectman, Mark B. Walter, was re-elected to the Board of Directors.

The Connecticut Conference of Municipalities (CCM), the statewide association of towns and cities, elected its Officers and Board of Directors for 2013-14 at CCM's Annual Meeting on June 13, according to a recent press release from the organization.

Five officers were elected and 19 directors were re-elected for another year, including East Haddam's First Selectman Mark B. Walter. They join with six past presidents of CCM who continue to serve on the board. 

Walter is in his third term as First Selectman of East Haddam and is Chairman of CCM’s Legislative Subcommittee on Land Use, Housing and Community Development and a member of the CIRMA Board of Directors. He is also the former Chairman of the newly-formed Lower Connecticut River Valley Council of Governments.
