4/15/2013
On the above date, jewelry, a laptop and cigarettes were reported as missing from a home on Lake Shore Drive in the Lake Hayward section of East Haddam. Anyone who might have information is being asked to contact Trooper Coit at Troop K in Colchester.

4/17/2013
On the above date, an employee of My Father's Place, located at 39 North Moodus Road in Moodus, reported that heroin was found in one of the cottages. The incident is currently under investigation.

4/20/2013

On the above date, Bernard Muldoon, 45, of 37 Birch Road Moodus, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence after attempting to turn around prior to a DUI checkpoint on Route 149.

At the same DUI checkpoint, Megan Clark, 29, of 38 Knoll Road, Moodus, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and risk of injury to a minor. She was released on a $1000 non-surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Middletown Superior Court on 5/1/2013.

4/24/2013
On the above date, Robert Mims, 24, of Schulman Veselak Road in East Haddam, was driving a Honda Accord when he hit a stone wall located at his residence of the same address. When police arrived, they issued a standard field sobriety test after smelling an odor of alcohol. Mims was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. He is scheduled to appear in Middletown Superior Court on May 8, 2013.
