Student Filmmakers Shoot Dramatic Fire Dept. Documentary

H-K High School students recreate a rescue mission for a documentary on Haddam volunteer firefighters.

With smoke machines, firefighters in full gear, and high drama, Haddam-Killingworth High School students Chet Crocco and John Abbott spent hours simulating a search and rescue mission recently at a town garage in Tylerville. The two amateur filmmakers are shooting a documentary about the Haddam Volunteer Fire Company.

The film, part of a school video class project, will be available for viewing on YouTube and will be aired on local cable access channel 18. Air dates have not been determined.
