Troop F is investigating a burglary at 100 Pinebrook Rd. in Haddam Neck that happened on April 26. The thief stole an antique sterling silver tea and coffee set, which included silver sugar and cream bowls, six silver tea spoons and an oblong silver platter and a grey-colored Mac Book Pro. Police are asking anyone with information about this crime to please contact State Trooper Ewing at (860) 526-3605.

Nicole Shail, 22, of 265 Walkley Hill Rd., Haddam, was charged with evading responsibility and failing to drive in the proper lane following a car crash. According to police reports, Shail was traveling south on Cedar Lake Rd. in Haddam when her Volkswagon Jetta veered off the road and smashed into a tree on the northbound side of the road. The accident was reported by a passing driver but Shail had left the scene by the time police arrived. Police found her walking along the side of the road and charged her with misdemeanor evading.

Jeremiah Marselli, 35, of Hickory Circle, Middletown was arrested on a warrant today stemming from a burglary investigation of two dirtbike motorcycles, from a shed on Camp Bethel Rd. in Tylerville on Feb. 15, 2012. Marselli was charged with larceny 3rd degree and conspiracy to commit larceny 3rd degree. He is being held on a $5000 bond. According to Haddam Resident Troopers TFC Milardo, the warrant was served to Marselli while he was already incarcerated in a CT correctional facility on another charge.  

, said Milardo, was his co-conspirator in that case and was already charged and is also currently incarcerated.
