Amanda Gionfriddo, age 19, of 64 Oak Rd., East Haddam, was travelling northbound on Falls Rd. in the area of William F. Palmer Rd. when the Grand Am she was driving struck an object in the roadway, causing it to strike the curb. No injuries were reported at the scene. Gionfriddo was issued a warning for driving too fast for conditions.

Elizabeth Jones, age 57, of 65 A Gates Rd., East Haddam was traveling south on Warner Road, about a tenth mile south of Mt. Parnassus Rd., when, for unknown reasons, the caravan she was driving swerved through the left shoulder and struck a tree. No injuries were reported and the vehicle had to be towed from the scene.

Donald Mathieu, age 58, of 118 Ballahack Rd., East Haddam, was operating a Triumph Tiger motorcycle, travelling eastbound on Haywardvill Rd. when he drove off the road and over a rock wall in an attempt to avoid hitting a stopped pick-up truck. According to Mathieu and an eyewitness, the truck was heading east on Hawardvill Rd. and was stopped for a school bus. Mathieu was uninjured and the motorcycle received minor damage. He was issued a written warning for traveling fast.
