Killingworth Man Facing DUI Charges

Paul Wayne Davidovich, 55, was charged with operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol after driving into a tree on Chestnut Hill Road in Killingworth on August 22, according to a Troop F report.

The following information was provided by the Troop F press log located at their barracks in Westbrook, CTThe charges are not a finding of guilt. The people who have been arrested are entitled to due process during which it will be the government’s burden to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

According to a Troop F Criminal Information Summary, 55-year-old Paul Wayne Davidovich, of 191 North Chestnut Hill Road, Killingworth was involved in a one-car motor vehicle accident on August 22.

Police say Davidovich sustained minor injuries after the vehicle he was operating hit a tree on Chestnut Hill Road in Killingworth. The vehicle sustained heavy front end damage as a result of the accident.

According to Police, Davidovich displayed 'evidence of intoxication' and was administered the Standard Field Sobriety Tests. He was placed under arrest and charged with operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol and failure to drive right except wide load vehicle. He was subsequently transported to Troop F barracks for processing, and was released from custody on a $500 non-surety bond.

Davidovich is set to appear in court September 5.
