Interfering/Assault on an Officer, Criminal Violation of a Restraining Order, Risk of Injury to a Minor, Larceny and Disorderly Conduct

Haddam area police activity reports.

 

The Haddam Resident Troopers' Office and the Connecticut State Police, Troop F in Westbrook report the following incidents:



SIXTH-DEGREE LARCENY — On Nov. 10 at 10:34 a.m., police were called to Stop & Shop on East Main Street, Middletown for a complaint of an employee who had been shoplifting.  It was reported by store security that an employee had entered the store at 5:40 a.m., filled her cart with merchandise valued at $107.63, then put the carriage in the back room of the store. At 9:00 a.m., police say she picked out four Blue-Ray discs and put them inside her sweatshirt. At 10:22 a.m., it was reported that she allegedly pushed the carriage into an aisle with groceries in bags, punched out of work, went to the service desk and cashed her payroll check, and then left with the carriage full of items. The four discs valued at $107.96 were not recovered at the time. Janet Hall, 51, of Foot Hills Road, Higganum was arrested and charged with 6th-degree larceny. Hall was released on a written promise to appear and scheduled to appear at Middlesex Superior Court on 11/28/11.

CRIMINAL VIOLATION OF A RESTRAINING ORDER AND USING A MOTOR-VEHICLE WITHOUT THE OWNER'S PERMISSION - On Nov. 20, Brandon Wyzykowski, 18, of 67 Old County Road, Higganum was arrested and charged with the above. Wyzykowski was released on a written promise to appear and given a court date of 11/21/11 at Middlesex Superior Court in Middletown.

RISK OF INJURY TO A MINOR, DISORDERLY CONDUCT AND INTERFERING WITH AN EMERGENCY CALL - On Nov. 21, David Esposito, 38, of 236 Plains Road, Haddam was arrested and charged with the above, as a result of a domestic dispute. Esposito was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear at Middlesex Superior Court on 11/22/11.

INTERFERING WITH AND/OR ASSAULTING A POLICE OFFICER - On Nov. 22, Brandon Wyzykowski, 18, of 67 Old County Road, Higganum had reportedly become disruptive while at school, and had subsequently left school grounds. He was returned to the school by police, at which point they reported that he had become physically combative and started spitting at the officers. Wyzykowski was taken into custody, arrested and processed at the Troop F barracks, and charged with the above. He was released on a $5,000 cash bond and given a court date of 11/30/11 at Middlesex Superior Court in Middletown.
