Higganum Couple Cited for Disorderly Conduct

State Police Troop F Westbrook Incidents Feb. 20-22

Connecticut State Police Troop F Westbrook announce the following:

DISORDERLY CONDUCT — On Feb. 22 at 10:07 p.m., troopers responded to a domestic violence call at 986 Killingworth Road, Higganum. Police determined both the male and female had engaged in disorderly conduct. Michelle K. Davis, 38, was taken into custody and released on $500 bond. Terrance Davis, 37, was issued a misdemeanor summons and released on a promise to appear in court. Both had Feb. 23 court dates.

TRAVELING TOO FAST FOR CONDITIONS — On Feb. 21 at 7:18 p.m., Paul S. Melluzzo, 73, of Middletown was driving a 2006 Honda Odyssey and was stopped on Bridge Street (Route 82) at the intersection with Route 154 in Haddam when Justin Bazzano, 23, of East Hampton, driving a 2007 Jeep Wrangler, struck the rear of Melluzzo’s car. There were no injuries. There was minor front bumper damage to the Jeep and moderate rear-end damage to the Honda.

FAILURE TO MAINTAIN LANE — On Feb. 20 at 7:36 a.m., Steve Diakomanolis, 41, of Middletown was driving a 2001 Mercedes C240 traveling on Route 9 southbound five-tenths of a mile north of Exit 8 in Haddam. He lost control of the car and struck the wire rope guardrail. The car and 220 feet of guardrail were damaged. No injuries were reported.

FAILURE TO DRIVE IN PROPER LANE — On Feb. 20 at 2:28 a.m., Christoper Pietras, 23, of Wallingford was driving a 2000 Volkswagen GTI north on Route 9 in the right lane five-tenths of a mile north of Exit 9 in Haddam when he fell asleep and the car drifted into the left lane, into the left shoulder off the roadway and hit a wire rope guide wire. He was uninjured and the car was towed from the scene.
