Haddam Woman Charged With Operating Illegal Animal Facility

State Police Westbrook Incident Reports Feb. 23 to March 4.

The Connecticut State Police Troop F Westbrook report the following incidents:

POSSESSION OF LESS THAN 4 OZ MARIJUANA, DRUG PARAPHERNALIA — On March 4 at 10:38 a.m., Stephen Hart, 21, of Hemlock Valley Road, East Haddam, was a passenger in a car stopped for motor vehicle violations on Winter Avenue in Deep River. Hart was found in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He is scheduled to appear in court March 24.

OPERATING A STOLEN VEHICLE, IMPROPER MARKER, INSURANCE COVERAGE FAILS MINIMUM, OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER SUSPENSION, FAILURE TO DISPLAY PLATE, POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA, NARCOTICS AND LESS THAN 4 OZ MARIJUANA — On March 4, at 5:53 p.m., Russell Baker, 23, of Quarry Hill Road, Haddam, was stopped by police on Middlesex Avenue in Chester for failure to display a front marker plate. Investigation revealed the car contained marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Baker was found in possession of cocaine, arrested and given a court date of March 17.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT — On March 4 at 10:31 a.m., a 2000 Volkswagen Passat was taken from the driveway of 101 Joseph Circle, Haddam.

ONE-CAR ACCIDENT ­— On Feb. 27 at 10:49 a.m., Joanna Dumas, 28, of Hoop Poll Hill Road, Chester, was driving a 2009 Nissan Pathfinder southbound on Route 81 in Higganum in the area of Soobitsky Road, when she lost control, causing the vehicle to rollover, and stop in an upright position. No injuries were reported and the car was towed by AAA.

OPERATING AN ANIMAL FACILTY WITHOUT A LICENSE AND FAILURE TO RESPOND OR PLEA — Jessica K. Lombardi, 36, of Hull Avenue, Haddam, was arrested Feb. 27 on a warrant and given a court date of March 10.

BREACH OF PEACE, RISK OF INJURY TO MINOR — On Feb. 23 at 9:45 p.m., State Police responded to Rock Landing Road, Haddam, on a domestic violence call between a mother, Rebecca James, 41, and her son, Dylan Miller, 19, who allegedly came home intoxicated and yelling. He grabbed his 14-year-old sister and threw her on the stairs, the report says. There were no injuries. His court date was Feb. 24.
