Haddam Teen Accused of Setting 5 Brush Fires and Vandalizing 33 Signs
Vandalism valued at $3,400
Since January, there have been five suspicious brush fires set and 33 traffic signs have been vandalized, the Middletown Press reports.
State police say a lone 17-year-old teen is responsible for all of the above, the paper reports.
The juvenile allegedly set fires on Beaver Meadow and Old Mottland roads near Cockaponsette State Forest and Saybrook Road near the Haddam Meadows State Park, the Middletown Press reports.

The fires were all set overnight and he faces six counts of first-degree criminal mischief. The vandalism damage totaled $3,400, the paper reports. Because of his age, his name was not released.
