The generosity of East Haddam residents and others nets a huge collection of toys and other gifts for children of the community in need this holiday season.

On Saturday, December 10th, the East Haddam Police Department staged their 6th-Annual 'Stuff-A-Cruiser' Christmas Toy Drive event at the Nathan Hale Plaza on Falls Road (Route 149) in Moodus.

The Resident State Troopers, East Haddam Constables and members of the Troop K Police Cadets spent the day collecting toys, gift cards and monetary donations that will be distributed to children in need throughout the community for the holidays.

The brisk winter chill in the air was no match for the heart-warming generosity of local townspeople and others, who streamed in during the day with donations to fill up the cruisers.

An enormous inventory of gifts were collected as a result of this initiative.
