Driver Hits Car in Haddam Parking Lot, Leaves Scene Before Police Arrive

An unoccupied car was hit on Saturday in a Haddam parking lot. The perpetrator fled the scene before police arrived.

The following information was provided by the Troop F press log located at their barracks in Westbrook, CT.

According to a Troop F Accident Information Summary, an unoccupied vehicle was stuck in a Haddam parking lot on Friday, August 3.

The reports states that a Honda Civic owned by a Higganum resident was parked at 1610 Saybrook Road in Haddam between the hours of 9 AM and 1 PM. During that time, and unknown vehicle struck the rear bumper of the Honda, causing damage, and then evaded the scene.

Any witnesses are asked to contact Troop F at 860-399-2100.
