East Haddam Police Activity Reports, June 9 - 15
The East Haddam Police and the Connecticut State Police, Troop K, report the following incidents:
DISORDERLY CONDUCT - On June 9, Lawrence Guidobono, 49, of 11 Geoffrey Road, East Haddam, was arrested and charged with the above. Guidobono was given a court date of 6/10/11 at Middlesex Superior Court in Middletown.
LARCENY - On June 9, a student from the Nathan Hale-Ray High School, 15 School Drive, Moodus, reported a stolen iPod. East Haddam Police are currently investigating.
LARCENY, FORGERY, AND RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT - On June 10, Georgette Graf, 58, of 200 Norwich-Salem Road, Hadlyme, was arrested and charged with 1st-degree larceny, seven counts of 2nd-degree forgery and two counts of reckless endangerment, stemming from a case of allegedly forged health/medical documents. Graf was released on a $100,000 court-set bond and is scheduled to appear at Middlesex Superior Court on 6/28/11.
TWO-CAR MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT - On June 10, at approximately 6:04 p.m., Kevin Conway, 26, of Moodus-Leesville Road, Moodus, was traveling northbound on Route 85 in Salem in a 2007 Volkswagon Rabbit, approaching Route 82. James Henry, 47, of Skyline Drive, Salem, driving a 2010 Ford F-150, was attempting to make a left-hand turn and struck Conway's vehicle on the passenger side. Police issued Henry a written warning for failure to grant the right-of-way while making a left-hand turn. No injuries were reported.
MOTOR VEHICLE vs. TREE - On June 11, at approximately 7:00 p.m., Nicole Palmer, 17, of Haywardville Road, Colchester, was traveling along Haywardville Road in a 2005 Ford Taurus, when her vehicle went off the roadway and struck a tree. Police determined that heavy rain and wet road conditions may have contributed to cause of the accident and issued Palmer a written warning for traveling too fast for conditions. No injuries were reported at the time of the accident.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - On June 15, police were called to the East Haddam Elementary School on Joe Williams Road in Moodus to investigate a complaint of graffitti found on the play-scape.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE - On June 15, police received a 9-1-1 hang-up call originating from the area of Orchard and Landing Hill Roads in East Haddam. Upon further investigation, police determined that two individuals had been involved in a minor physical altercation. Michael Rossi, 18, of 41 Orchard Road, East Haddam, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. He was processed at Troop K, then later released on a $500 non-surety bond and given a court date of 6/16/11 at Middlesex Superior Court in Middletown. Steven Rossi, 56, of the same address, was also arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, processed and released on a written promise to appear with a court date of 6/16/11.
