The East Haddam Local Prevention Council is a community coalition that represents various sectors of East Haddam and is interested in reducing alcohol and drug use among our young people. Focusing on prevention through community education and organization, the coalition works in collaboration with EHYFS to increase community awareness, educate youth, parents and other community stakeholders, and mobilize community resources.

New volunteers can become involved either as members of the East Haddam LPC or by joining us for specific projects or activities throughout the year. Anyone interested in learning more about the East Haddam Local Prevention Council can contact East Haddam Youth & Family Services 873-3296.
