According to police,  a homeowner on Denlar Drive in Chester called the resident trooper’s office after she heard a noise at a door at her home and saw a man trying to enter. She was able to keep the man out of her home by pushing against the door and then saw the man riding away on a bicycle.

She then called police and when they responded they saw a man on a bicycle nearby, police said. Police ordered the man off the bicycle, but he refused and then resisted arrest, police said.
