43 Acres of Endangered Forest and Lake in Higganum Needs Your Protection

You are encouraged to Walk the Kuiaski Estate Property Preservation, this Sunday, June 22 at 1:00 p.m.at Reisman Trail cul de sac/Kuiaski Property (map link below). This 43 acre-endangered forest and lake abuts the Menunketeseck-Cockaponset Greenway state forest and needs to be preserved! Whether or not you can walk the property, please email Graham Stevens - Director of the Land Acquisition Division, CT Dept of Energy and Environmental Protection at graham.stevens@ct.gov and tell him you want the State to purchase the "Kuiaski Estate Property, Indian Hill Road, RN2014-0014" outright to protect it as Higganum's newest forest preserve.
