Letter to the Editor: In Favor of the Candidate Who Voted Against the Land Swap

Mary Ellen Klinck did not support the Land Swap, while Jim Crawford voted for it.

 

Dear Editor,

If you need help making a choice in the August 14 Democratic Primary for State Senate in the 33rdDistrict (which includes East Haddam, Colchester, East Hampton and Haddam), one issue provides a sharp contrast – the controversial Haddam Land Swap issue.

The contrast: Mary Ellen Klinck does not support the Land Swap while Jim Crawford voted for it while he was a State Rep last year.

I do not support the land swap and therefore will be voting for the candidate who clearly shares my position – Mary Ellen Klinck.
