Connecticut Haddam and Killingworth State Troopers Conduct Underage Drinking Patrols through the Holiday Weekend

Two underage drinking patrols were conducted over the holiday weekend by Haddam and Killingworth Connecticut Resident State Troopers.  The first patrol was conducted on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 by Haddam Resident Trooper James Connelly who assisted Deep River Resident Trooper Christopher Cope with issuing three infractions for underage drinking in Deep River during the HK-Valley football game.

In addition, on Saturday, November 24, 2012, Haddam Resident Trooper Enrico Milardo and Killingworth Resident Trooper Matthew Ward conducted an underage drinking party patrol. During the patrol a bon fire and a large gathering of approximately 30 youth were located in the Cockaponset State Forest off of Beaver Meadow Road in Haddam.  Further investigation revealed three juveniles to be in possession of alcohol by a minor.  Three infractions were subsequently issued for juveniles in possession of alcohol by a minor and 29 infractions were issued for Violating Hours of Operation in a State Park. Patrol Troopers from Troop F also responded and assisted in the investigation.
