GREAT HISTORICAL FIND IN KILLINGWORTH!

Local lore tells us that Longfellow wrote The Birds Of Killingworth while he was staying in Killingworth years ago. The story goes that he stayed in the old house across from the Killingworth dump. Well...the house has recently been sold and the new owner is renovating the old home. Check out my Killingworth/Haddam blog to see what was found when the old fireplace was uncovered
