Still Life Painting Workshop with Drew Lantrip

Paint a still life in natural light using the sight-size approach. Winter is almost here and it’s time to enjoy painting indoors. It's time for still lifes!

We will use our six hours to paint in natural light which will provide you with more natural colors and more subtle and softer transitions.

Sight-size helps to quickly establish scale and proportion through a direct comparison of your drawing and the model which leads you to make more accurate judgements about which lines, shapes, and values to render.

Instruction and guidance will be given as you progress and Drew will also paint a still life as a demonstration.
