For future meeting info please be aware that we will now be posting all of the meeting information on the School’s District Website, Edline and Patch.com . These and lawn signs we will have for the future will be the only reminders from now on. Because we are combining our group to form an area wide Special Education Parent Teacher Group the meeting locations will vary.

Speaker - Tracy Whaples, District Director of Pupil Services, Regional School District 17.
· Topic - Formalizing a Regional Special Education PTA
· Update - Special Education and Gifted/Talented Resource Guide for Parents/Caregivers and School Staff/Teachers
Our goals are to create a group that offers parents and teachers a way to connect and discuss programming, create support groups to offer parents guidance, assistance, resources and support to help their children and their families to thrive. We want you to know we are there to help, even if it is only to listen. There are many different forms that Special Education takes-it can be overwhelming.
