Paranormal Author and Founder of CtGhosthunters Sydney Sherman to Present at Killingworth Library

Connecticut Paranormal Author, Sydney Sherman, will talk about her new book You Are Not Alone: Our Loved Ones Are Here...You’re Just Not Listening on Sunday, March 10 from 1-3pm at the Killingworth Library. The event will encourage all of us to consider the possibilities of connecting to the other side.
Sherman will talk about her life growing up as a medium, how to push past all the misinformation about what occurs in the afterlife that is instilled upon us through TV and movies, and will explain how each of us can have a relationship with our loved ones now and identify ways in which they can avoid falling prey to the frauds of the field.
Sherman’s book outlines her passage from confusion to acceptance of her relationships with the many spirits who inhabit her everyday world.
The book goes beyond a simple biographical story of a medium. Frustrated with media sensationalism and misinformation about the afterlife and contact with spiritual entities, Sherman decided to “come out” with her secret. You Are Not Alone is part of her goal to provide clarity and understanding of the paranormal.
For decades the Madison resident has been active in the “ghost hunting” community to promote a rational view of the unexplained through scientific means. Sherman is recognized by her ghost-hunting colleagues as a significant force in promoting professionalism and responsibility in the field.
The free event includes a Powerpoint presentation, a Q&A, and book signing.  Please register in advance by calling the Killingworth Library at 860-663-2000 or stopping by in person.
