MUSIC AT THE MEETINGHOUSE Winter Concert

For this month's concert at First Church on Feb. 17, 2013, at 3 p.m. we welcome "Liquid Groove", a jazz quartet which plays original compositions as well as arrangements of classic and contemporary jazz standards.  Inspired by Thelonious Monk, Bill Frisell and Django Reinhart, the band emphasizes an elastic, swinging rhythmic feel which opens up new and unexpected listening space.  The artists are:  Justin Good (guitar), Hans Lohse (percussion, accordion, flute), Chris Devlin Brown (bass), and Rich Tortorigi (drums).  Tickets are $12. which includes refreshments during the performance in a cabaret-style format.  For information and reservations, call 860-537-2052.  Join us!
