Elizabeth Sennett Oil Painting Demonstration

CHESTER- East Hampton artist and instructor Elizabeth Sennett, who has been painting flower gardens, still lifes, and the Connecticut landscape for four decades will give a demonstration of tips and techniques for painting in oil at the Maple & Main Gallery.  She will also have some works available for sale.  Tickets are $10 each.

Elizabeth was one of the founders of the East Hampton Art Association and continues to be very active in it, She has been teaching painting for over 30 years in East Hampton and Middletown. She currently teaches approximately 25 students per week for a fall and spring semester.

Elizabeth attended the Lyme Academy of Fine Arts and the Connecticut School of Fine Art. She has also taken painting workshops with Betty Lou Schlemm, Michael Stoffa, Ferdinand Petrie, T.M. Nicholas, Mike Graves, T.A. Charron, Carleton Plummer, Carol Reeves, Tom Nicholas, Foster Caddell etc.
 
Elizabeth Sennett has displayed her paintings in many one woman shows. Her paintings are in many public and private collections including Connecticut Bank & Trust, Jefferson Federal Savings, City Savings, Manchester Savings Bank, Manchester Community College and Northeast Utilities.
