This weekend, enjoy a burger (or two) at Mogehan Sun. Mohegan Sun has developed a featured burger for each day of the month. This weekend, the featured burgers are:

  • May 5: Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville’s “Mexicali Burger”
  • May 6: Todd English’s Tuscany’s “T.E. Burger”

 St. Peter Teens in Action Youth Group  will be collecting wearable and usable clothes, shoes, belts, handbags, linens, stuffed animals and hard  toys. Drop off items at on May 5 and 6 from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. The money raised will help send the teens in the youth group to Cumberland Maryland in Appalachia to help rebuild the homes of those less fortunate. All items collected will be donated to needy people here and around the world.

: Stop by on Saturday at 9 a.m. to support the Ray FFA Chapter of Nathan Hale Ray High School's car/dog wash and bake sale.  

 The East Haddam Community Lions will be hosting their 7th Annual English Tea at at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

 Last weekend's mulch sale was postponed to Saturday, May 5 at 8 a.m. It will be held at Halls Power Equipment located on 817 Saybrook Road in Haddam.

Moodus Sportsman Club Children’s Fishing Derby and Tag Sale: On Sunday, the Moodus Sportsman Club will be holding a Children's Fishing Derby and Tag Sale from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
