Power Restoration in East Haddam

43 crews are in East Haddam on Sunday working to get power restored.

This is an important update From Emergency Management Director, Craig Mansfield on the CL&P status for the Town of East Haddam posted September 4, 2011 at 1:15 p.m.

East Haddam currently has 43 CL&P line crews in town today working to restore power. Additionally, there are single crews in town out repairing service into resident’s homes that have been damaged.

Our Emergency Operations staff met with the CL&P President of Transmission Jim Muntz in East Haddam this morning. Mr. Muntz has insured us that East Haddam continues to be a priority town for restoration.

Additionally, First Selectman Mark Walter has personally spoken with Congressman Joe Courtney who is also aware of our concerns and assisting us in making East Haddam a continued priority with CL&P.

Mr. Muntz has stated that CL&P has set a goal of having East Haddam down to 400 outages by midnight tonight. The town will be 99% restored by Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. with all residents expected to be restored by 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

We are asking all resident to call CL&P daily at 800-286-2000 until your power has been restored.
