PHOTO: Missing East Haddam Man

East Haddam Emergency Management issues an alert for a 68-year-old white male.

Update: Robert Masci is still missing as of Wednesday morning, Oct. 19. Photo has been released to help aid in the search, which has expanded to surrounding towns. Anyone with information is being asked to call Troop K in Colchester at 860-537-7500.

Original Alert: East Haddam Emergency Management issued the following alert on Oct. 18, 2011, at 7 p.m.

Robert Masci is missing from the Boardman Road Area of East Haddam since 3 p.m. this afternoon. He left for a walk and has not returned home. Bob has a moderate case of dementia and is know to walk distance.  His family believes that he will not stop and ask for help but will continue walking until found. Bob Masci is a 68-year-old white male described as being 6 ft tall and weighing 180 lbs. Bob is bald on the top of his head with brown hair on the sides. Bob was last seen wearing blue jeans, grey sneakers and a bright aqua colored sweatshirt. Bob also wears glasses.  Should you see him please call Troop K in Colchester at 860-537-7500.
