Killingworth Snow Update

First Selectwoman Catherine Iino provides an update on Killingworth roads.

From the Killingworth First Selectwoman

Once again, I apologize for my mistaken statement yesterday afternoon that all roads were accessible. As many of you have pointed out, they were not. I am very sorry to have given the impression that some roads had been forgotten.

Not wanting to convey more misinformation, I have been waiting to post again until I could account for all the roads. If your road is blocked and is not listed here, please let me know as soon as possible.

Now open:
Rebecca
Town Clerk Lane
Warwickshire

Crews and machinery have been dispatched to work on the following roads this morning:

Dudleytowne
Fawn Hill
Granite Hill
Jay Dowd
Laurel Ridge/Lafata/Linnea
North Chestnut Hill
Old Deep River Turnpike (between Hemlock and Rt. 81) Paper Mill Quarry Hill Sugar Hill

Additional, larger equipment will be sent to Fawn Hill as soon as it is available.

Our priority, in this record snow storm, is making sure that roads are accessible to emergency vehicles. It will take some time to get the roads fully open and clear. Please continue to minimize your driving.

Catherine Iino
First Selectwoman
Town of Killingworth
