Killingworth Declares Snow Emergency in Advance of Pending Storm
Killingworth First Selectwoman Catherine Iino declares snow emergency, banning parking on public roads as of midnight Thursday.
Killingworth Snow Emergency Notification
We are expecting a major winter storm starting early on Friday, February 8th and lasting through Saturday. I am therefore declaring a snow emergency as of midnight Thursday. This means that vehicles must not be parked on public roads until the emergency is lifted.

Please note, as well, that pushing or throwing snow into the roadways is prohibited, as doing so creates a hazard for drivers and plow operators.
If Nemo materializes as expected, the Transfer Station is likely to be closed on Saturday. The station will be open tomorrow as usual, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
