National Voter Registration Day: Today is National Voter Registration Day, and thousands of local, state and national organizations have mobilized to make sure millions of people don’t miss the chance to cast their vote in this year’s elections. The deadline in Connecticut to register to vote is Oct. 23. Are you registered? If not, do it here in CT with this form via mail.

4. Killingworth Road Work: During the first part of this week, Bar Gate Trail near Stone Pasture will be closed to traffic between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
