2. Green Party: With all the news about elephants and donkeys out there, did you even know that the CT Green Party holds a nominating convention? will meet on Saturday, August 18, 10:30 a.m. at the Mansfield Public Library to select a candidate to run in the 2nd Congressional District.

3. Ice-cream Social: Come on down to and learn about equine worming and enjoy an ice-cream sundae or root beer float from Salem Valley Ice Cream!!! 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today!

4. Casting Call: is holding a casting call for Something’s Afoot on Thursday. August 23 at 10 a.m. You will need to sing a comic music theater song.
