Daily Five: Fellner Art, Milling and Paving, Peak Foliage, Canada

Five things to know for Thursday, October 4, 2012.

 

1. Weather: Cloudy with showers likely, a high near 72. For tonight, showers and thunderstorms likely with a low around 54.

2. Milling and Paving: There will be milling and paving work done in the Tylerville section of Haddam in the area of RT 82 and RT 154. The milling will take place for approximately 3 days and plans are in place to pave the week of October 15 (weather permitting).

3. George Fellner Art: George Fellner Photography Studio/Gallery is participating in the 2012 Autumn Art Studio Trail sponsored by the Arts Center Killingworth. A series of Framed (& unframed) limited edition prints of the "Imaginary Realms" series will be exhibited. Check it out here.

4. Peak Foliage: The CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) is estimating that peak foliage in CT will be from October 5 through November 13.
