1. Weather: Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 11 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 83. For tonight, showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 4 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 66.

2. Off to Market We Go: The Higganum Village Farmers' Market begins its fourth year on Higganum Green this Friday, June 1. The market goes from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

3. 4 Eggs, 4 Weeks: An American robin built her nest in a hanging plant on a patio. The homeowners set up a videocam and posted the progress. The hatchlings are adorable!

4. Rails to Trails:  are pathways created along old, abandoned railroad tracks for hiking, walking, biking, and sometimes horseback riding. More information can be found on DEEP's website.

5. Indigo Children: Indigo children is a term used to describe children who are believed to possess special traits or abilities. Some traits include empathetic, strong-willed, curious, independent, a deep understanding of purpose, a strong innate sub-conscious spirituality from early childhood, a high itelligence quotient and an intuitive sense of the world.
