Daily Five: From The Great Park Pursuit to Technology and an Art Teacher Who Packs a Punch

2. Last Chance: Today is the LAST day to register for Tablets & Computers & Televisions, Oh My! This two-part workshop is to learn the techniques to support healthy media habits for your family. Learn how media habits can either help or hinder your child’s behavior and skill development.

The workshop will take place on April 11 and 12 from 10-11:30 a.m. in room 202 of the  It will be presented by East Haddam Youth and Family Services Counselor Emily Murphy, MFT.

Free childcare will be available in the Family Resource Center with registration.

4. The Great Park Pursuit: Get outdoors and get moving with your kids. Have you joined The Great Park Pursuit yet? There is only one week left to sign up for this adventure that involves deciphering clues, visiting beautiful CT State Parks and Forests to participate in fun activities and win prizes. The event is part of the No Child Left Inside initiative.
