26 Acts of Kindness Kicks Off Friday

In an effort to make East Haddam a better community and to honor the victims of the Newtown tragedy, East Haddam has adopted the 26 Acts of Kindness.

East Haddam Parks and Recreation is honored  to announce “East Haddam-26 Acts of Kindness-Are You In?”. Throughout the nation, people are honoring the 26 people that lost their lives in the Sandy Hook school shooting tragedy.  Ann Curry, from NBC, started this campaign as a way to create a gentler, kinder nation.

Help us show the world that East Haddam is a community of caring, compassionate people who can make a difference in the world.

Beginning on March 1, 2013, you can register by turning in a “26 Acts of Kindness: East Haddam makes a  Promise” registration form.  The first 100 people to register will receive a free T-Shirt as East Haddam Parks and Recreation’s Act of Kindness #1.

Return your list of “26 Acts of Kindness” that you performed before July 1st and we will read these Acts of Kindness at the Music on the River Concerts!
