Wyman: Gov. Proactively Wooing New Businesses to Land in CT

Lt. Gov. Tells Haddam-East Haddam Chamber Members Job Creation is Malloy's Top Priority

The Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce hosted Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman at its Haddam-East Haddam Division breakfast Thursday morning at the Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station in Haddam.

Wyman spoke to business owners, members of the community and chamber members from both towns, including Chamber president Larry McHugh, Essex First Selectman and 36th Assembly District Representative-elect Phil Miller, and Haddam First Selectman Paul DeStefano.

She explained how she and Gov. Dannel P. Malloy crafted the proposed state budget and introduced the Five First initiative to draw new mid-sized businesses to relocate in Connecticut.
