In bed... LOL. I taught my son to make Hollandaise Sauce when he was about 8 years old. For the last 18 years I've been lucky enough to enjoy Eggs Benedict made with Smoked Salmon (in lieu of Canadian Bacon) and a NYT in bed with my son and DH each Mom's Day. Lovely! Thanks to the Patch, we'll be heading over to Balleks for an hour of two of inspired garden wandering too. Thanks Patch!

Lucky you! That sounds like the perfect Mother's Day- what a wonderful gift you gave yourself and your son by teaching him to create such a spectacular meal. Perhaps, I need to start teaching my son to make my favorite- crepes! :) I love Ballek's...I need to save up all winter for my garden shopping sprees come spring. I'm happy that Patch could inspire you. Thank you for being an involved Patch reader.
