Haddam-Killingworth High Schooler Honored by Middletown Rotary
Higganum resident Gabriela Narowska, a graduating senior at Haddam-Killingworth High School, was recently chosen as a Service Above Self Student Scholarship recipient at Middletown Rotary Club's recent Awards Ceremony.
The Middletown Rotary Club held its 2013 Awards Ceremony at the Inn at Middletown on May 22. Among the recipients was Haddam-Killingworth graduating senior Gabriela Narowska. Narowska was presented with a Service Above Self Student Scholarship Award.
The scholarship recipients were chosen based on Rotary's motto of “Service Above Self”, rewarding students that showed extraordinary volunteer service. In addition, students are required to maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher.
Scholarships are awarded thanks to the fundraising efforts of the Middletown Rotary members throughout the year.
