Sweet Sounds on the River

Monday, July 11th marks the first night of the East Haddam Music on the River Series.

MUSIC ON THE RIVER LINE UP 2011

All concerts are held on Monday nights from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the green of the Goodspeed Opera House. If it rains, the concerts will be moved to the Hale-Ray High School Auditorium (please call the Recreation Office for location information if the weather is questionable; 860-873-5058).

Great food and drinks will be available to purchase at the Gelston House or feel free to bring a picnic dinner. Parking is available in the Goodspeed Opera House parking lot, behind the Gelston House. The Music on the River site is made possible through the generous support of Goodspeed Musicals. The committee asks that you please leave your dogs at home.

 A Connecticut band from Middlesex County made up of several talented, local musicians. Influenced by the folk-rock music of the 60s and 70s, Riverside is known for their tight harmonies, will surely have you tapping your feet to song selections from that awesome era.

Gunsmoke - Join us for a special Commemoration of Gunsmoke’s 25th anniversary! Gunsmoke and founder, Nick DeMaio were inducted into the Connecticut Country Music Association’s Hall of Fame on February 12. They have a lot to celebrate this year with their true country and western music.
