Need a Book?

The East Haddam Free Public Library (860 873-8248) is offering a new, free service to people who are unable to get to the library due to illness or other problems. Just call with your request for the book of your choice (audio books, as well) and a volunteer will get it to you (some magazines are available, too!). The materials will also be picked up and returned to the library at your request.                      Books (or books on CD) are not due back for three weeks, so you have plenty of time to read/listen them, in addition they may be renewed by phone, if you need more time.      If you prefer them in large print, that can also be arranged. Many are available right here in East Haddam or can be borrowed for you from other libraries (inter library loan – that takes a week or two!).                                       Never be without reading material, call your friendly library today and arrange for a book delivery.

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
